About

A Warm Welcome to St. James Catholic Primary School at St. James , we are proud to be an inclusive, nurturing school where children come first and truly sit at the heart of everything we do. We believe everyone needs to belong and that's exactly how you feel at St. James . Every member of our school family helps ensure children feel safe, heard, and valued.

Rooted in faith, we believe in our children, and through the teachings of the Gospel, they learn to believe in themselves. Our community lives out the values of respect, trust, care, compassion, tolerance, and forgiveness each day.

We celebrate every child's individuality and help them grow in perseverance, resilience, and confidence so they can develop a strong character, aim high, and achieve their dreams.

We are proud of our strong partnerships with families, the local and wider community, and the SHARES Lancashire Partnership, which provides high-quality professional development and keeps us at the forefront of new initiatives.
