About

As Headteacher, it is my privilege to welcome you to Westfield Junior School, where we are dedicated to developing confident, caring achievers. Our school community is built on the values of resilience, responsibility, respect, teamwork, and self-esteem - qualities we nurture in every pupil to prepare them for lifelong success.

At Westfield Junior School, we understand the unique needs of our pupils, with a significant proportion having Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) or receiving SEN support. We are committed to providing an inclusive, supportive environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We believe that everyone is welcome at Westfield Junior School.

We actively educate our pupils to understand, respect, and celebrate diversity, ensuring they appreciate and embrace differences in backgrounds, abilities, beliefs, and identities. Our approach is firmly rooted in the principles of the Equality Act 2010, which protects characteristics such as race, disability, religion or belief, gender, and more.

We strive to create a culture where discrimination, harassment, and victimisation are not tolerated, and where all pupils feel valued and included.
