iWritten by WhatSchool from official school data (Get Information about Schools, DfE and Ofsted).Welcome to Sheepy Magna Church of England Primary School! We are a small, rural, church primary school situated on the Leicestershire/Warwickshire border with 108 children on roll. The school was originally founded in 1847. We have three classrooms in the main school building and a large mobile classroom.
We enjoy our large outdoor area that has a garden for the children to grow their own produce and has lots of equipment to play with at lunchtimes and playtimes. We have a Peace Garden - which is a garden area for quiet reflection. Also, we have a large 'outdoor classroom' which is a lovely wooden gazebo, used for lessons and for shelter.
We actively encourage the children to learn outside and regularly use the surrounding wooded area as an extension to our grounds. We are open daily from 7.30am until 6.00pm with very active Breakfast and After School Clubs. Our curriculum is exciting and creative and we work hard to ensure there is something for everyone.
PE and sport play a big part of Sheepy life and we employ a Sport's Coach, through an agency, to work with all the children throughout the week. We regularly take part in competitions and tournaments and have quite a few trophies to show for it!
