About

We are a close-knit community-based Church of England school where children are valued and helped to flourish and achieve their best. They are supported and nurtured to become confident and independent people who love to learn and enjoy a challenge! All schools have their own distinctive 'feel' which makes them unique.

We think the special feeling you get at St Barnabas comes from our nurturing, supportive and friendly environment, which is based on our distinctive Christian character and values. St Barnabas is a happy and creative school, and the staff make it their mission to teach exciting, engaging and fun lessons that help children develop.

I am proud to be part of such a wonderful school, and proud to work with such committed and passionate staff who want to provide the very best opportunities for the children in our care whilst looking after their well-being and making sure they achieve high standards in their learning.

The staff make sure that what the children learn is exciting, interesting and engaging - they make sure children develop their skills and get a life-long love for learning.
