About

Welcome to our School! We are a small school with Big ideas! Our aim is to, Be the best that you can be! Our school is situated in the village of Normanby by Spital, but also serves nearby villages and outlying districts. As a small school we play an important part in our close-knit community. Our school is taking part in the Lincolnshire Reading Pledge.

The aim of the reading pledge is to ensure that every child, regardless of their background, needs or abilities, becomes a confident, fluent and enthusiastic reader. We are pleased to announce we have been awarded the Silver Award in June 2024 for successful completion of the Silver criteria of the Lincolnshire Reading Pledge with the Witham St Hughs English Hub.

We focused on developing a strong reading culture within the school, which has led to remarkable outcomes. This award is a testament to the success of our initiatives in fostering a love for reading among our pupils. Thank you to all our staff and school families for supporting reading for pleasure throughout the year.

Special thanks to our mystery reader visitors who delighted our pupils with a special surprise reading experience!
