About

iWritten by WhatSchool from official school data (Get Information about Schools, DfE and Ofsted).

About Us The school opened in this building in 1971 as Caister Infant School but in 1979 it was re-designated as a First School. In September 2008 it reverted back to being an infant school. The age range of the school is from 3-7 years but there are 16 places available for 2 year olds in the Nursery as part of our day care provision.

The school is open from 8 in the morning until 5.30 in the evening and we provide a Breakfast Club and an After School Club. We have a purpose built library and ICT suite and interactive whiteboards in every classroom including the Nursery. The real qualities of the school lie in a wide variety of areas. It provides a purposeful and secure learning enviroment for every child.

A broad view is taken of learning in which the personal, social and emotional development of children is seen to be equally important as the academic and intellectual aspects of their education.

If you would like to look around the school to see for yourself what a wonderful environment is provided for children during the early stages of their formal educational journey, please contact us by post, telephone or email at:- Caister Infant with Nursery School Kingston Avenue Caister-on-Sea Great Yarmouth Norfolk NR30 5ET Telephone: 01493 378300 About Us The school opened in this building in 1971 as Caister Infant School but in 1979 it was re-designated as a First School.
