About

We hope our website will give you a flavour of life at St Michaels, a forward-thinking, values based school, and a very special place for your child to be. Our vision is to develop an outward facing, aspirational culture which will encourage children to aim higher and challenge themselves to be the best they can be.

We want to encourage children to demonstrate how they can use their personal gifts to contribute to our community, be enterprising, develop positive relationships, support others, challenge injustice and achieve a sense of self-worth and identity. Our approach is to show children what is possible, and then equip them with the skills and confidence to achieve it.

We give our children high quality teaching, combined with a wide range of extra-curricular experiences, so that they become happy, successful learners who will make a positive contribution to society throughout their lives. We have high expectations of our children, both for their academic standards and their good behaviour.

We work in a restorative way, supporting relationships at school and at home. We very much encourage you to visit our school and see for yourself what makes St Michaels so special.
