About

Please check here regularly for all our school holidays and upcoming events throughout the year. You can contact us in person, by phone or by email. Expect a reply in a timely manner within working hours. Come and see the interesting and exciting activities we get up to at Goathland Primary School.

Our school nursery takes children from their 3rd birthday and we offer flexible 15 and 30 hours provision. Goathland Primary School is an attractive, modern and dynamic school catering for children from aged 3 to 11.

Originally built in the 1800s, and tastefully extended and modernised in the 1970s, the school building is beautifully situated in the midst of stunning moorland, yet only a few minutes' drive from the main A169 Whitby to Pickering road.

With easy access from the direction of Dalby and Thornton le Dale, and only 15 minutes' drive from Whitby, Goathland School is an excellent choice for families looking for a highly personalised, ambitious education in a warm and nurturing community environment.
