About

We would like to welcome you to Athelstan Community Primary School, a school we, and our community are justifiably proud of, as Ofsted stated in 2023 The Athelstan vision to be the best that we can be is at the heart of all this school has to offer. Leaders and staff have high expectations for pupils learning and behaviour.

They are determined to make sure that pupils needs are met, both academically and pastorally a statement we confidently believe reflects the passion we have to make our school the very best for our children and what we strive for everyday.

If your family is joining us for the first time we welcome you and look forward to a happy and successful partnership with your family over the coming years. If you already have a child here, we will endeavour to strengthen our existing links with you in order to enable Athelstan to provide the best education possible for each of your children.
