Welcome to our school website. I hope that you enjoy reading through the pages and find the site easy to navigate. We are incredibly proud of our warm and friendly school and the innovative way the staff team work together with parents, governors, children and the community to create teaching and learning opportunities that are relevant, meaningful and fun.
Kirkby-in-Malhamdale Primary is a Voluntary Aided school supported by a secular foundation trust and we operate as part of a Federation of two local Schools, which includes Settle CE Primary. Our school is much smaller than average. We currently have 52 pupils on roll, which means very enviable class sizes and working groups that include generous adult to child ratios.
We are blessed to be situated in the very heart of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, which provides fabulous opportunities for outdoor curriculum learning. Being a small school enables us to really get to know the children and families that use our services and to personalise the learning experience of each child.
We have a very strong academic track record which has resulted in achievement awards and national recognition.
