Download a brochure Book a College tour Make an enquiry The House system is a central part of Ashville life and plays an important pastoral role, which provides another level of belonging in the Ashville community.
All pupils are placed in one of the four competitive houses: Each House is led by two Upper Sixth pupils, known as the Heads of House, supported by a member of teaching staff.
The House System also provides healthy competition with many events taking place throughout the year and all pupils are encouraged to take part and learn the value of teamwork: The School Council is made up of an elected representative from each year group. The aim of the Council is to discuss ways to improve.
Suggestions from each year group are brought to the Council by their representative and then discussed, voted on and wherever possible, implemented. The School Council is instrumental in supporting initiatives such as raising money for charity.
