I am proud to be the headteacher at this small friendly school, positioned in the centre of the village. Our school is for children aged 4-7 years. The school has a team of seven class teachers, eight learning support assistants, a School Business Manager, an Office Administrator and seven additional support staff.
Your child's wellbeing is our primary concern. We believe that children learn when they are happy, secure and respected, in an environment where they feel safe and loved. The school prides itself on providing a caring community where children learn in stimulating indoor and outdoor environments.
The school enjoys a fabulous forest setting where the children are able to appreciate the natural environment through their time in forest school. We deliver the National Curriculum and Foundation Stage programmes in an integrated fashion to enable children to benefit from the wide range of experiences offered.
Long Buckby Infant School is lucky to have the support of many parents and friends working on a voluntary basis in school. Strong liaison exists between the Junior School as well as the local pre-school groups.
