About

As the proud Headteacher of Overstone Primary School, I'd like to extend a very warm welcome to our small but thriving village school, where every child is known, valued, and truly at the heart of all we do. This is a place where strong relationships, high expectations and joyful learning come together to create something very special.

At Overstone, we live by the saying, "It takes a village to raise a child." Our close-knit school community is central to everything we do. As a dedicated staff team, we take great pride in truly knowing each child; their strengths, interests, and unique qualities, and in working closely with families to support every aspect of their development.

Our ethos is built on three simple yet powerful values: Being small means we can offer something big: a strong sense of belonging, a calm and caring environment, and rich, tailored opportunities for every child.

Whether through inspiring lessons, outdoor adventures, whole-school events, or quiet moments of pride, our pupils flourish in a setting where they are known, heard, and celebrated.
