About

Welcome to Seaton Delaval First School we believe that all children should be happy, safe and learning . We strongly believe in the child-centred approach to education focussing on individual needs and encouraging children to become active learners from a range of first-hand experiences.

All members of staff provide a rich, stimulating environment where children can confidently develop the skills, attitudes, knowledge, understanding and concepts necessary for responsible individuals and lifelong learners. We realise the importance and the need to set challenging individual targets for all pupils in order to raise their standards in all subjects and areas.

As parents and carers, you are the most important person in your child's life, therefore it is really important we work together to support each other in making this a reality.
