iWritten by WhatSchool from official school data (Get Information about Schools, DfE and Ofsted).Stannington First School is a successful community school, set in a beautiful location, serving the children and their families of our local area and beyond. We are all very proud of our school which puts at its heart our children and their learning.
Our aim is to provide an outstanding education for all of our pupils and encourage them to become motivated, lifelong learners.Therfore, we are committed to developing the whole child and our vision of Learning, caring and growing together is promoted throughout the school and supported by our values of honesty, kindness, perseverance, resilience, respect and teamwork.
It is important to us that our pupils are prepared to make their own contributions to our diverse society, as confident and happy citizens, and we have an excellent team of caring and committed staff who work incredibly hard to provide the children with a broad range of opportunities and experiences.
We understand that the support of parents and carers is a key aspect to a child's success at school. With their support, and that of our local community, we are able to work together to ensure each child receives the best possible education.
