About

We hope that if this is your first view of Brinsley Primary and Nursery School, this website will convey not only our vision and ethos, but the day to day life experienced by the wonderful children, families and staff that make up our community. Brinsley School dates back to 1914 when a Victorian hospital building was converted into a school.

It is situated in the beautiful village of Brinsley, just outside Eastwood in Nottinghamshire. The school is situated on a 5 acre site that is made up of a forest school area, garden areas and a greenhouse that are maintained in part by the children, quiet reflection and outdoor reading areas, a massive school field, a trim trail and extensive playgrounds.

We are very proud not only of our facilities, but our rich history, which is symbolised by the Brinsley Headstocks and its mining heritage. Your content goes here.
