The Governors and staff thank you for taking an interest in Ramsden Primary School. We hope this website gives you some useful information about our school and the opportunities it offers children. We have a friendly, happy learning environment where all children can develop their skills and talents in a variety of ways and to the best of their abilities.
You are encouraged to visit us and we will be delighted to show you our wonderful school. During a careers lesson at school I was asked what I wanted to be. I confidently stated that I wanted to be the next Les Hiddens, otherwise known as the The Bush Tucker Man .
After the teacher had asked me to explain who he was he replied, Well, you re not going to get much call for that around Retford are you? I wonder how many other people have negative memories from similar incidents in their school lives. One thing is for sure, those few seconds that that brief conversation took place in has stayed with me and always will.
