Built in 1961 our school serves the northern area of Kidlington and the outlying communities to the north. We are incredibly proud of our school and there are many aspects which we feel make us stand out from other primary schools.
For example, we have over 120 Chromebooks and 30 iPads which means we are able to integrate computing into all of our lessons to better reflect the world we live in. We believe in the positive physical and mental aspects of sport to teach children determination, perseverance, pride and how to live a healthy life (we have achieved the school games platinum award).
We think children need to learn practical skills along with academic achievement, so in our design and technology classes, children as young as 5 learn how to use a saw and a drill and we believe in reading as a life-long passion: children have a comprehensive phonics education at North Kidlington school but they also enjoy reading and listening to a variety of high-quality texts throughout their time with us.
