About

Welcome to Goring Church of England (VA) Primary School Goring Church of England (Aided) Primary School nestles in the Goring Gap on the River Thames in South Oxfordshire. The school was founded in 1855 and, although we are a church school, we aim to provide education for the whole community and welcome all families from other denominations and beliefs.

Pupils come from the village and surrounding area and from a variety of backgrounds. The school aims to provide every child with a modern, safe, welcoming and thought-provoking education. The school is led by Mrs Angela Wheatcroft who has been the Headteacher since 2009. Each class is led by qualified teachers and assisted by dedicated teaching assistants.
