About

Hello and welcome to our little school just south of Oswestry in North West Shropshire. We are rooted in the heart of our village community with its history of mills, mining and farming. Morda was home to the Oswestry areas workhouse and children from that institution were some of our first pupils back in 1876.

Our school community is diverse, reflecting the wonderful mix of people who live in our catchment area. We get on well and we all do our best to hold to our core Christian values of Compassion, Courage and Fairness in all that we do. Our learning, especially, seeks to imprint these values like the words through a stick of Blackpool Rock.
