About

About Queens College at Queen's College, our sense of community sets us apart. Our community is built on kindness, curiosity and care, where every pupil is encouraged to think boldly and grow with confidence. Queens College About Queens College We believe education should do more than teach - it should inspire, nurture and open doors.

Ours is a community built on shared values, mutual respect and genuine care. We encourage every pupil to be curious, kind and ambitious, helping them to become confident, well-rounded individuals who are ready for life beyond school. Founded in 1843, Queen's College has been a cornerstone of education in Taunton for over 180 years.

Originally based in Taunton Castle and moving to our current site on Trull Road in 1846, we remain proud of our heritage as the town's oldest school and one of the South West's leading independent day and boarding schools.
