About

Slide 1 Interim Headteacher : Mrs R Palmer Developing the citizens of tomorrow through the best education of today. The quality of education in the early years is a strength of the school. Children make an exceptionally strong start in the two-year-old provision and continue to develop very well in Nursery and Reception.

They are very well prepared, both socially and emotionally, for Year 1 and achieve well across the curriculum. The curriculum and environment in the early years are vibrant and exciting. The school places an extremely high priority on early learning opportunities to help all children to develop their communication and language skills.

Children show exceptionally high levels of interest, curiosity and independence in the early years. The Puffin Nursery provides half and full day care within Chancel Primary School.

We are an established educational nursery, extending the provision by offering fully funded sessions, and other sessions which are chargeable, to meet parents and children's needs (including before and after school care, from 7.30am to 5.45pm).
