About

Thank you for taking the time to consider Lichfield Cathedral School, a non-selective, co-educational day school in south Staffordshire, with a distinguished tradition of inspired teaching and musical excellence. Lichfield Cathedral School offers an environment where each one of our students is supported individually in order to fully realise their potential.

The magnificent surroundings of The Close and the beautiful countryside at Longdon enable pupils to benefit from the inspiring setting of Lichfield Cathedral and to explore our natural environment.

Christian values of tolerance, compassion, charity and fellowship permeate the daily life of a child at the Cathedral School, but no-one has religion forced upon them and faith is not a prerequisite for joining the school; these are valuable human qualities that enhance the lives of those who embrace them, irrespective of their own standing on faith.
