Lingfield Primary School is situated in the heart of the large village of Lingfield, most famous for Lingfield Racecourse. Fields and beautiful countryside surround this busy village. Lingfield is proud of the rich tapestry made up by all its pupils and their families. Our school community is made up of significant proportions of pupils from a range of backgrounds.
The employment status of our families includes: professionals both local and city based; small business owners; and a skilled, manual workforce. We have a higher than average proportion of pupils with Educational Health and Care Plans and our pupils eligible for free school meals is in-line with the national picture.
Children who speak English as an additional language is a steadily increasing pupil group and we also have a small yet thriving traveller community.
