About

St Ives may look small but actually it is exploding with education, excitement and fun! All of the teachers are inspiring in each and every lesson St Ives is an exceptional prep school for boys and girls aged 2-11, set in 8 acres of beautiful parkland just a short drive from Haslemere High Street.

At St Ives, we believe education should be relevant, interesting, stimulating, engaging, and above all, fun! Learning can take place anywhere, in and out of the classroom, so we seize every opportunity to develop the childrens love of learning. We have specialist subject teachers and small class sizes to ensure that our pupils can thrive in lessons.

Our aim is for every child to leave St Ives at the end of the day feeling that today really was the best day ever. We have an outstanding record of pupils achieving their first-choice entry of senior schools , with many scholarships awarded annually.

In 2022, every child in Year 6 was accepted into the school of their choice, with 70% receiving scholarships to prestigious independent schools such as Guildford High School, Churchers College, St Catherines School, Frensham Heights and Prior's Field School.
