About

Midhurst C of E Primary School has been at the heart of our community for over 150 years. Originally founded in 1865 , the school began its journey in the buildings opposite the site where the Half Moon Pub still stands today. This rich heritage reflects our long-standing commitment to providing education rooted in Christian values and a strong sense of belonging.

As the town grew, so did the school. In 1972 , our current building was constructed to offer modern, spacious facilities for a new generation of learners. Today, the main school houses eight bright and well-equipped classrooms , complemented by additional teaching spaces in our refurbished quad building.

Our central location within Midhurst means we are easily accessible, and our extensive playing fields provide a safe, attractive environment where children can learn, play, and thrive. Over the years, we have continually developed our grounds and facilities to meet the evolving needs of our pupils.

From outdoor learning areas to our beautiful Sensory Garden , every improvement reflects our belief that children flourish in an environment that nurtures both academic and personal growth. Introducing The Treehouse – A New Chapter in Inclusive Learning
