About

It is a privilege to introduce myself as the Headteacher of this wonderful school, where we are dedicated to creating a nurturing, inspiring and ambitious environment for every child. HJS is a place where children flourish - not just academically, but as confident, kind and resilient individuals who are prepared for the opportunities and challenges of the future.

At the heart of our school is a strong sense of community. We believe that we play a crucial role in the partnership between our children, their homes and families, and the wider world and we are committed to working closely with all those involved to support every child's journey.

Our values - rooted in respect, curiosity and care for one another - are woven into daily school life. We believe that everyone at HJS should, through positive actions, treat each other with love, kindness and actively encourage each other to 'Aspire to Succeed' in all we do, thus building a safe, vibrant, and loving community based on strong Christian values.

Our children leave HJS not just having achieved well academically, but being outward facing, compassionate and always showing unconditional love for their neighbour.
