About

On behalf of the children, staff and Governors, it is my pleasure to welcome you to Dovecot Primary School. We are a happy, inclusive and family orientated one-form entry school with a Nursery class. We are a friendly and welcoming school with high aspirations for every child. Children are at the heart of everything we do.

Every decision we make is to ensure that they are safe, happy, independent and confident and that the opportunities that are provided for them are relevant to their needs both now and for the future. Our aim is for our children to move through life with confidence, excellent skills, good friendships and happy memories of primary school.

At Dovecot we have knowledgeable and enthusiastic teachers who are able to inspire and engage the children in a curriculum that develops the whole child, building on prior knowledge and making connections.

Through our broad and engaging curriculum, we ensure that children can foster a passion for learning and curiosity of the world around them, which will develop high aspirations and a lifetime of memories.
