As Headteacher, I am proud to welcome you to Ackworth Howard CE School and our website. I love working in this school! Something really quite special exists in the ether and you can't help but be swept up in it. The core purpose of our vision is to provide opportunities for growth in mind, body and spirit to ensure the holistic development of all who work and learn here.
We are passionate about learning and strongly committed to our vision which captures all that we stand for and aspire to be, building on the work of the past 190 years! We hold tight to the vision we have for our school. It encourages the whole community to be the best versions of ourselves and keeps at the forefront of our minds what motivates and sustains us in our work.
Our pupils bring as much to this equation as the adults. I think they are remarkable and deserve the best and I am proud that during their time here, they grow into confident, well-rounded individuals.
