At Bushmead we have built a friendly and welcoming place of learning. We take pride in our warm and positive atmosphere believing that happy children make good learners. We are firm advocates of valuing children for who they are, in addition to what they achieve. We feel it is just as important to praise effort as well as results!
Our school encourages a can do attitude of community and mutual respect, whilst treating each child as an individual learner. It is our belief that every child who joins Bushmead has the right to feel inspired to fulfil their potential leaving us ready to take on the challenges of Secondary school and life? Our vision can be summarised in three simple statements.
High Expectations - We have high expectations of our children, ourselves and our families. High Achievements - All children achieve well at our school based on their different starting points when joining us. Rich Curriculum - We provide a rich curriculum that engages children.
