We hope that you will enjoy watching our video as we take you on a tour of our learning environment! Our aim is to provide a fun, active, challenging learning atmosphere for all children in our preschool, and a place where everyone can achieve. We plan purposeful play environments where children are stretched to reach their full potential in all areas of the their development.
Starting our journey at Little Learners preschool is exciting! Our transition book is used to help children to become familiar with our learning environment, and the adults who support them, before they arrive. Our Foundation Stage is made up of preschool and Reception children aged 3 5 years, and is known collectively as The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
The preschool children are also referred to as FS1 and children in their Reception year as FS2 . We provide opportunities for exploration and investigation, space to learn and embed new learning in both indoor and outdoor environments that stimulate the children's imagination and support their development.
The Meadows Foundation Stage provides a happy, safe and caring environment where children feel secure, giving them the firm foundation on which their future learning can be built.
