About

Welcome to Great Oaks Small School -The Small School with a Big Heart. Hello, and a heartfelt welcome to you and your family from me, Julie Kelly. At Great Oaks, we are incredibly proud that Ofsted recognized our commitment to Personal Development, Behaviour and Attitudes with an 'Outstanding' rating in 2025. Your child's well-being and individuality are paramount to us.

You can be assured that our dedicated and long-standing team of full-time therapists and fully qualified subject teachers covering every core curriculum area will consistently provide the highest levels of kindness, consideration, and respect. We are committed to nurturing your child's educational journey from their initial steps through to GCSEs and 'A' Levels, as appropriate.

More importantly, we prioritise student wellbeing by ensuring a safe and secure environment, in turn fostering a positive school experience. We understand that choosing an Independent school is a critical decision in a young person's life; many of our students come from mainstream settings where they have faced enormous challenges.

We offer a small, therapeutic environment based over two unique and beautiful locations.
