Welcome to Kingsthorpe Village Primary School which has, at its heart, a strong and effective TEAM ethos (Together Everyone Achieves More). As a school, we deliver a broad and balanced topic based themed curriculum linked to our successful butterfly model (a creative planning system).
We champion creativity within teaching and learning and aim to inspire our pupils, providing them with life skills they can apply in a variety of situations. We complement the curriculum through the provision of extensive extra-curricular opportunities and school events throughout the year and our pupils are enthusiastic, hardworking and resilient.
We recognise the benefits of celebrating our successes and developing effective community links and are continually looking for ways to improve the educational experienced of our pupils as future leaders in this technological world. As a school we promote key British values throughout the year and pride ourselves on being a supportive and compassionate school.
Our school day starts at 8.55am (doors open at 8.45am) and finishes at 3.20pm for Reception class and 3.30pm for the rest of the school.
