About

The Key Education Centre offers education for children who are temporarily unable to attend school because of the following reasons: they are at risk of being permanently excluded from school they are unable to access school because they are emotionally vulnerable they are unable to access school because they are facing an absence of 15+ continuous school days due to ill health.

The Key Education Centre is made up of two schools - one in Gosport and the other in Havant. The Exec utive Headteacher across both sites is M iss Eliana Swann . Our two sites have a Head of School - Miss Emma Wood, Gosport and Mrs Nicky Thomas, Havant. A single M anagement C ommittee oversees the governance of both sites.

All referrals to The Key Education Centre are made by Headteachers and't he Local Autho rity The Key are unable to accept referrals from parents or carers. Queries regarding placements should be discussed with a pupils school in the first instance. Advice can be sought via Hampshires Inclusion Support Service.
