A very warm welcome to the Akiva School website which is designed to give you a taste of our school and its community. I am extremely proud to be the Headteacher of such an exciting, Progressive Jewish primary school where individuals are valued and helped to achieve their full potential.
The pupils at Akiva are motivated to learn and are supported to become independent and confident young people who thrive on challenge. Akiva is the only Progressive Jewish primary school in the UK. We are an inclusive community, teaching our children respect, kindness, resilience and integrity.
Our aim is for pupils to leave Akiva embodied with these values and as successful, independent learners who are knowledgeable Jewish citizens and active participants in the wider world.
