About

Welcome to Galley Hill Primary School and Nursery and Welcome to Galley Hill Primary School and Nursery! I have had the privilege of being a part of Galley Hill since the school opened in 2008, and I am extremely proud of the community we have built in this time. Visitors to our school always comment on the friendly and welcoming atmosphere and the enthusiasm of our children.

Our children share that they feel safe and happy and that they have adults in school who they trust and they feel they can speak to. We take our safeguarding responsibilities extremely seriously. Our children are the centre of all that we do and we strongly believe that partnerships with parents and carers is essential to our pupils feeling settled and making good progress.

We love to welcome parents into school as much as possible and to greet families on the playground before school each morning.
