About

At Lightmoor Village Primary School, everything we do is based on building positive relationships. We pride ourselves on building care and consideration for everyone within our welcoming, calm and nurturing school. We recognise the importance of celebrating difference and diversity, and work as a team to demonstrate this through everything that we do.

It is a priority for us that each and every one of our pupils leaves us well prepared and ready to move onto their next stage in education and life. They will be equipped with skills that allow them to continue their learning, build and maintain relationships, manage challenge and struggle and contribute positively to their community.

Our curriculum delivery maximises opportunities for children to learn in 'hands on', experiential contexts, often outside the classroom. We want learning to 'stick' and therefore, it's our goal to make learning memorable, relevant and enjoyable.
