I would like to warmly welcome you to Morton Academy. Our school community is thriving and I am proud to be the Principal who gets to serve our wonderful students. We are an Award winning school which has been oversubscribed in Year 7 entries for the last 4 years making us one of the most popular schools in the area.
I lead a team of colleagues who are deeply committed to our vision to be a great school community in everything we do. We are determined to make a positive impact in the lives of our students and their families. We serve the western area of Carlisle and are proud to be the school of choice in our community.
Our curriculum mission is designed to give the children of our community the best educational experience possible. We want our students to be Made in Morton but ready to take their place in the world.

Governors marked “Confirmed same person” have exactly the same forename and surname as the only officer of that name at the school’s own academy trust company on the Companies House register, so we treat them as the same person. The governance record itself comes from DfE.
