About

LVS Hassocks is a Special Educational Needs School. Find out what an SEN School is. We are a past winner of the ISA SEND school of the year award. Our specialism is autism, and we offer day places to autistic young people aged 11-19. Many of the young people who are referred to LVS Hassocks have encountered negative school experiences as a result of their diagnosis.

This may have been because school refusal or multiple school exclusions has meant a poor quality of life for the young person with special needs and their family. It is often at this point that referrals are made to LVS Hassocks.

All applicants are carefully considered to ensure that the school is suitable for the young person's age, ability, aptitude and special educational needs and that the placement is compatible with the provision of efficient education for other pupils already attending the school.

Please read our How to Apply page to get a better understanding of the process and how to start an application. If you have any questions about our admissions process or criteria then Make an Enquiry below.
