About

iWritten by WhatSchool from official school data (Get Information about Schools, DfE and Ofsted).

Welcome to Carlton Keighley Mark Turvey Head of School Welcome to Carlton Keighley. We are a community-focused, caring and inclusive school who are proud to offer a high standard of education for all young people.

We serve a community which faces significant disadvantages, but do not believe this should be a barrier to the young people achieving incredible outcomes and becoming respectful citizens. The school has been on a rapid journey of improvement since it began working with the outstanding Carlton Academy Trust in September 2019.

In January 2020 the school achieved a 'Good' judgement from Ofsted; the improvements made since this inspection were acknowledged in a further ungraded inspection in February 2025. At Carlton Keighley, we believe that character and culture matter. Our core values are ambition, resilience and respect.

Our staff and pupils live out these values every day through their actions in school.
