About

Assalamu 'Alaykum / Peace be upon you A very warm Welcome to Bahr Academy. We've come a long way since 2007 when the school started with just a small intake of girls and even less resources.

However, our guiding principles and mission have remained the same, 'for Bahr Academy to be a place where our students can achieve educational excellence and benefit from amazing opportunities for character development, spirituality, leadership and service to communities.' ‍ Our pursuit of academic excellence is based upon our unshakeable belief that every person is unique and special, and has the capacity within them to succeed .

Our vision is 'To nurture today's young generation to become tomorrow's leaders and role models' and our job as a school is to help each and every young person discover their unique talents. We believe that all our students from every background are capable of achieving outstanding outcomes and developing into active British citizens who contribute to the wider community.

We promote fundamental British values in a unique manner based upon the teachings of our Holy Book; The Qur'an and prophetic traditions. As our Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) teaches us; 'People are like treasures, just like treasures of gold and silver.' As we know, gold and silver do not simply come out of the ground ready to be made into jewellery.
