A highly ambitious school, nurturing compassionate and knowledgeable global citizens I would like to welcome you all to R A Butler Academy Infant and Junior Schools, our wonderfully vibrant primary schools in the heart of Saffron Walden.
Whether you are currently part of our school community or a prospective family, I hope our website will give you a flavour of what we have to offer. Year 6 have been learning about the human circulatory system and making models of the components of blood using cereal, lentils and food colouring. All in the name of science!
Wizard Belzar visited Y1 today to talk them through potion making for their instructional writing work. We've been afraid of the big, bad wolf, huffed & puffed the house down, & run away as fast as we can during Y1s Fairytale Day. They created their own Fairy Tale characters, made up their own stories, made flapjacks and also took part in a Fairy Tale dance lesson!
