About

At Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School, we are proud to continue a tradition of Grammar School education in Faversham which dates back to 1527. Our highly successful and welcoming school offers extensive opportunities for students to achieve academically, socially and personally.

Students at Queen Elizabeth's experience a high quality global education which prepares them for their futures, whatever their aspirations and interests. We combine the qualities and values of a traditional grammar school with a positive attitude towards change.

We ensure that all members of this school see themselves as a part of a community whose success depends on each individual respecting the needs and values of their peers, thus fostering a life-long empathy for others. What makes our school unique is the importance we place on developing interpersonal skills and qualities alongside high academic success.

We offer outstanding student care and innovative, high quality teaching in a positive, happy environment. We have high academic expectations, whilst also encouraging our students to excel in the wide range of extra-curricular activities on offer.

Governing body (12 current, 3 former)

iAcademy trust: local governing body and trust board.

13 governors are linked to a profile (all confirmed).

Governors marked “Confirmed same person” have exactly the same forename and surname as the only officer of that name at the school’s own academy trust company on the Companies House register, so we treat them as the same person. The governance record itself comes from DfE.
