About

At Aston Academy we are committed to providing high quality learning and teaching, enabling everyone to reach their full potential, whatever their age, ability, gender or ethnicity. We believe that every person is unique and we work together in an inclusive environment of mutual respect and consideration, valuing everyone's contribution.

Through our partnership with the local and wider community, we aim to support our young people in successfully taking their place in society. All adults in school have a responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. With your commitment, we will make a difference.

We are praised for positive attitude and behaviour through rewards We are recognised for our achievements by our subject teachers I studied English literature, politics and History because I loved those subjects. My teachers always provided the support I needed. I am going to the University of Sheffield to study Politics.

Aston has given me the skills and confidence I need to move on to higher education.

Governing body (10 current, 4 former)

iAcademy trust: local governing body and trust board.

2 governors are linked to a profile (all confirmed).

Governors marked “Confirmed same person” have exactly the same forename and surname as the only officer of that name at the school’s own academy trust company on the Companies House register, so we treat them as the same person. The governance record itself comes from DfE.
