About

Whether your child is about to start at Brookside, or you are considering the school for your child's entry in to education - this website should contain all of the information you need to make your life easier. We know that starting at a new school can be daunting for your child (and for you!)

We also know that Brookside Academy is a large school and can be a little overwhelming. But don't worry... Although the school is large, we make sure we have plenty of staff to ensure that class sizes remain small and the children receive the best learning experience possible.

Our extensive buildings and grounds allow the school to offer facilities and resources not often available in early years education. Interaction with older children from an early age within a larger school environment can make the transition to secondary education smoother and less worrying for the children.

We believe that Brookside can give your child the best possible start in education. And to keep things simple for you, we have put together all of the information you need in one place. Just click on the New STARTER CHECKLIST button below...
