About

The Cheadle Academy is an inclusive and supportive mainstream secondary school catering for children from year 7 to year 11. We welcome children with and without special educational needs or disabilities (SEND).

We support children with a wide range of special educational needs across the four broad areas of need: cognition and learning, physical and sensory, communication and interaction as well as social and emotional needs and mental health. Our setting offers a safe and fully equipped learning environment for students to access the secondary curriculum.

Our school is predominantly on one level and we have a lift and pathways ensuring that all classrooms can be accessed by all students, especially those with reduced mobility or requiring the use of a wheelchair/powerchair.
