About

Students at Hazelwick enjoy high-quality lessons that open their minds to the joys and benefits of learning. The school offers a broad and balanced curriculum that gives students a wide experience of subjects, skills and opportunities in Key Stage 3, before they are able to exercise choice and specialise more as they move into Key Stage 4.

Our Sixth Form curriculum is delivered by high-quality teachers that are experts in their field, ensuring that our students can move into life post-18 with the qualifications and attributes that they require. We recognise and celebrate the strengths and abilities of all our students and one of the school's great strengths is the inclusive nature of our community.

Students are not compared to one another or ranked as a class. Rather they are supported and challenged to maximise their own potential, and to enable and facilitate those around them to do the same.

Governing body (20 current, 7 former)

iAcademy trust: local governing body and trust board.

13 governors are linked to a profile (11 confirmed, 2 (likely)).

Governors marked “Confirmed same person” have exactly the same forename and surname as the only officer of that name at the school’s own academy trust company on the Companies House register, so we treat them as the same person. The governance record itself comes from DfE.
