About

Catmose Primary is a 210 place school with academy status in Sandringham Close, Oakham, Rutland. Our school is friendly, calm and happy. Children enjoy their time with us and leave very well prepared to start their secondary education. We are the only feeder school for Catmose College whom we work in partnership with through the Rutland and District Schools' Federation.

We always welcome visitors and would be happy to give you a tour of the school, as this is the best way for you to determine if we are the right school for your child. We are so proud of the children and staff at our School; it really is a welcoming and exciting School to be a part of. Our current Ofsted grading of Good in all aspects reflects this.

We have a Creative Curriculum across the School which encapsulates the way in which we work. It is designed to be Individual, Innovative and Inspiring, our 3Is. We treat our children as individuals, we inspire them to learn and we want them to be innovative and enjoy their learning journey here at Catmose Primary.

Governing body (11 current, 1 former)

iAcademy trust: local governing body and trust board.

3 governors are linked to a profile (all confirmed).

Governors marked “Confirmed same person” have exactly the same forename and surname as the only officer of that name at the school’s own academy trust company on the Companies House register, so we treat them as the same person. The governance record itself comes from DfE.
