Greensted Junior School is located in Basildon, Essex. We became an academy on the 1st September 2012, and are proud to be a member of the Lee Chapel Multi Academy Trust. The school caters for girls and boys aged between 7 11 years.
We aim to provide the opportunity for each child to reach their full potential and to develop the skills, attitudes and knowledge to meet the challenges of a fast-changing world. Pupils are encouraged and expected to reach high standards in their work, behaviour and achievements we expect nothing but the best (with a lot of fun on the way!)
The original part of the school was built in the mid 1950's and has been much improved over the last ten years by being substantially modernised and enlarged. The school is constantly being upgraded. The school is co-located on a large site shared with Greensted Infant & Nursery School, with whom we have good ties.

Governing body (10 current, 1 former)
iAcademy trust: local governing body and trust board.2 governors are linked to a profile (all confirmed).
Governors marked “Confirmed same person” have exactly the same forename and surname as the only officer of that name at the school’s own academy trust company on the Companies House register, so we treat them as the same person. The governance record itself comes from DfE.
