Thames View Infants is a thriving, award-winning, four-form multi-cultural Academy, situated within the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. Welcome from all the Staff and Governors to our very special, vibrant and unique, multicultural Academy. Thames View Infants is a truly magical place to work, learn and play.
TVI was judged as outstanding by Ofsted across three successive Inspections (in 2009, 2014 & 2024). We work hard to provide a caring, fun, vibrant and supportive learning community where every child and their family really do matter. We value Parents as Partners and aim to help everyone, young or old, achieve their best!
I believe that children have only one chance to succeed at School and all my energy since 2007 as Headteacher at TVI has been dedicated to getting this right: giving our children – and their families – the best start in life and the best Infant education possible.

Governing body (9 current, 4 former)
iAcademy trust: local governing body and trust board.2 governors are linked to a profile (all confirmed).
Governors marked “Confirmed same person” have exactly the same forename and surname as the only officer of that name at the school’s own academy trust company on the Companies House register, so we treat them as the same person. The governance record itself comes from DfE.
